Chelsea Are Ready Bid €30 Million Kaka from Real Madrid

Chelsea are ready to launch an audacious bid for Real Madrid's Brazilian midfielder Kaka. Roman Abramovich has already splashed out large amounts during the January transfer window on Fernando Torres and David Luiz, but British newspaper The Metro has reported that the Russian tycoon is ready to part with almost €30 million more.

Current Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti worked with Kaka at Milan and is a big fan of the Brazilian playmaker. Ancelotti certainly saw the best years of the 28-year-old international with the Rossoneri, which led to los Blancos paying €65m for his services in 2009.

Kaka spent the first half of the season on the sidelines treating an injury picked up at the World Cup in South Africa, but produced his best performance of the season so far in Madrid's win over Real Sociedad last weekend.
